Venus 7:03
Music & lyrics composed by Michael Roessmann
Arranged and recorded by Amenophis, 1983
"Venus, Venus" whispered Allen in the moment of his death
He said "Venus, don't be late I wait in front of the gate"
But Venus didn't dare to take the leap
So Allen waited seven times seven days
Between the winds in vain
And other marched past souls
Warned him "Come on and hurry up"
"Quick through the gate
Or you will everything forget"
And he forgot!
In her despair Venus planted a seed of the fruit
Of his beloved companion into the earth of his grave
Cause Allen was a child of nature
The root reached his heart between the winds
Entwinded it and drew him slowly back
