Karsten Schubert

Karsten started to play the drums at the age of 12. He played
in various Rock- and Coverbands. One highlight in his musical
career was a White Russia Tour with the group Frantic Club in 1991.

One of his first lasting impressions was the album "Made in Japan" from the famous band DEEP PURPLE, especially the drum-solo inspired him mostly.
His favourite bands were RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE, DIO, JOURNEY, STYX, KANSAS.
The latest bands influenced his kind of playing the drums. Also YES and GENESIS and the music of the 70s and 80s were very important for him. One of his favourite drummer was BILL BRUFORD.
Later he payed attention to the groups QUEENSRYCHE,
DREAM THEATER, SPOCKS BEARD, TRANSATLANTIC,
NEILL MORSE's SOLO PROJECTS, ENCHANT.
